Noam

Noam is the Zionist youth movement of the Masorti Movement in the UK. As well as running camps and leadership training programmes, Noam operates weekly clubs at the various Masorti synagogue communities.

NNLS Noam Clubs

New North London Noam clubs have been up and running since September with regular and high attendance.

Shorashim is our youngest club run on Sunday evenings from, 5-7pm for Years 5 & 6. The club is run by our Noam Madrichim (leaders) who have themselves grown up in the movement and completed our leadership training course. The madrichim run games and informal educational programmes for the chanichim (children). Some themes this year have been Tikkun Olam (social justice), looking at different charities and issues that are facing the world we live in.

Nevatim club for Years 7 & 8 runs on Sunday evenings from 5-7pm.

Nofim club is run separately for Years 9 & 10 in people’s homes. This year one of their themes was ‘Youth in the Media’ where their madrichim got them engaged with a variety of topics relating to the way they live their lives as teenagers and found links to how it also relates to their Judaism.

Other Noam Activities

We also offer activities around the various Chaggim (festivals), and most recently, we ran a Masorti cross communal Chanukah fair, Purim party and Pesach activity.
