Teenagers are also well catered for at NNLS.
For pre- and post-B’nei Mitzvah there is the wonderful holistic HaDerech programme taking place on Wednesday afternoons after school. Many of our teenagers also take part in the community's Madrichim and Mentor schemes, taking on real teaching and mentoring responsibilites for their younger colleagues.
On Sunday mornings Years 7 and 8 can attend Cool'anu (based at the Shul site), and Years 9 and 10 can follow GCSE courses in Jewish Studies or Philosophy & Ethics at Gesher, the Masorti Teenage Centre.
A newly formed group of teens, Sabbaba, has come together to organise and take part in Shabbat morning Have I Got Jews For You sessions. Anyone from B’nei Mitzvah age through to Year 11 is welcome to attend. Sabbaba also has a youth music group.
If you consider yourself a budding young entrepreneur, why not opt into our Young Enterprise project for teenagers, which is raising funds for NNLS’s new building and Noam’s Leadership Fund.
And of course, Noam clubs and camp are open to all in Years 7 upwards.
From time to time, NNLS teens have even been spotted taking part in some of the wider community events… most recently showing their thespian talents in our hilarious Purim Spiel!
