Privacy Policy

NNLS is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The personal data you submit, and our records of your visits to the site, will be used to monitor and improve our service to you, and to contact you with NNLS news, newsletters, information about events that are going on organised by NNLS or which NNLS is supporting, to ask you to take part in community activities for which you have volunteered (such as Kiddush or security rotas), and to tell you about fundraising activities that NNLS or the Rabbi are promoting.

We may send you emails and hard-copy post about such activities and services, and we may on occasion telephone you. We might also contact you by email, post or phone to discuss the content of these our communications with you for market research purposes. You can ask us not to contact you, or to contact you in a different way, at any time by email to or by writing to us at NNLS, 80 East End Road, London N3 2SY. 

In order to help us communicate with you and to store data cost-efficiently, we use various third party solutions, some of which store the data using cloud-based technologies.  That means that personal data may be stored outside of the European Economic Area. By providing us with your personal data, you are agreeing to us using such systems.

Our website uses cookies.  Cookies are very small software programs that sit on your browser and improve the speed with which information can appear on your screen, and may provide us with information as to how users use our online services. If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can block them on your browser.

In order to contact you, we may provide your details to a member of NNLS who has responsibility for an event or activity, and if we do so, we do so, on the strict basis that it is only to be used for that limited purpose.  We do not make our mailing list available to any third parties other than Masorti Judaism (unless you have indicated that you do not want us to do so), and we will not disclose your personal data to anyone else, unless required to do so by a court of competent jurisdiction or an official regulator.

If you wish to update or have us delete your personal information, or if you prefer that we do not contact you, please e-mail us at to notify us.

You may ask us to provide you with details of the personal data that we hold about you by writing to us, together with the maximum allowed fee of £10, and we will reply in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
